Our pics show some of the fun. I am starting to realize if I don't take more pictures and I'm this far behind on the blog, I will likely forget what we did/do. I know there are lots of the same pictures but I have a hard time choosing and it takes a lot to get the "perfect" picture but to be honest, I love the goof ups. They are usually showing one of the kid's true personalities.
We made a couple of visits to the library as usual but there was one, we just went to play and the kids played nicely, we were the only ones there and they LOVED it. I also loved it.
-The Veterans Day parade, we made a big hit and had quite a few stop and talk with us for a minute, then I took the kids to a local coffee shop for hot chocolate and a cookie, they thought they were sooooo big
-If you know how I see our yard here, I don't try to impress anyone don't have HOA to deal with and we keep it cut, but I do not rake leaves. I raked leaves a lot of times the same leaves but only to play in them! Fun times for us all.
-Went for a hike at the park where there are old mature trees with large leaves and gathered leaves for an art project and decorated them and made garlands
-Had some really bad weather and a tornado storm about 10 miles from us, pictures are my view to the north and to the south on the same day...luckily I only had trash to clean up and our trampoline took a beating
-Cody surprised me and the usual grinch put in to put up the Christmas tree early, of course I gave in
-We made a thank you turkey box where everyday we wrote on notes we made something we were thankful for. The kids ended up loving this and on Thanksgiving we read them all at dinner. For our big meal, we went to Dan and Hannah's again. We made cookies -autumn cookies and acorn cookies
-The end of the month was the most exciting around here for Tanner. We had to buy hay for the winter for the goats. This may seem like something silly but to have 20 bales of hay on daddy's truck and he got to go pick it up and help, it was heaven for this little boy. He has brought it up more times than I can count as a "remember when".
I love that they appreciate the simple things in life!
