Eggs, eggs, and more eggs

April was filled with eggs, from plastic eggs, to dyed eggs, to chicken eggs. We had an Easter egg hunt at our house with some of our friends. I stuffed 175 eggs and only found about 5 later in the week. Because of the weather, Baylee and I played Easter egg hunt in the house one day for over 2 hours. We moved from room to room, taking turns hiding and finding. We had egg hunts outside when the weather was nice. We dyed Easter eggs. We went to a Rural King egg hunt. And finally She-rah started laying eggs again. Needless to say, I'm sick of eggs of all types, though She-rah's are keepers. April in Pictures

We got to assist in Ms. Hannah skipping school one day. We all got Chinese for lunch then went to the nature center to wear the girls out on a walk, feeding the fish and then playing indoors for a while there. It was enjoyed by all.
We also made a big step in Baylee's childhood. There was a Rapunzel doll she just had to have. So we worked out a deal. She would have to trade some of her toys to get it. While she had the money in her bank to buy it, I took the opportunity to
instead teach her we don't need every toy in the world and to share with those that don't have as much. We purchased the doll for her and she was more than happy to go through her toys and get rid of some(and I was not sad there are le
ss tripping obstacles in our house).

Bike rides have been a fun family activity. Tanner is too small for the trailer so he gets to ride in his carseat. It takes a ton of room from Baylee but she is a good sport about it. We've been playing with the goats and they are still getting nicer all of the time. However, we discovered they do not care for their harnesses at all. We put them in with the chickens to eat down the grass since the lawnmower won't fit and to be honest why weed eat the whole area when the goats can do it? There should be some advantages to having goats other than they are fun right?

Tanner turned 6 months old! He weighed in at 16 pounds even and 25 3/4 inches tall. He's still small but no weight checks necessary! Woohoo. And he was still scooting around like a mad man.
